I’m Christelle Nilsen. I grew up in a Christian household in Gadsden, AL and moved to Birmingham to attend UAB, where I graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2010. For the last 8 years I have worked for Ashley Mac’s Cafe, beginning as a delivery driver and eventually filling the role of Internal Operations Manager. In July of 2018, after my second trip to Haiti with HMM, I felt the Lord was calling me to pursue long term missions work in Haiti. Just a few short weeks after that I was presented with the opportunity to apply for the American Director position at CCH. A couple of interviews and one quick trip to the orphanage later and here I am! I look forward to being a part of the orphanage and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for all of us.
